Painting Art as a companion & therapy

Painting Art as a companion & therapy

Art is therapy.Joseph Beuys

My abstract paintings made from pure natural materials such as rock powder, spices, gemstones and precious metals have an effect on all three levels of human experience: the physical-somatic, the emotional and the rational level.

How can you imagine that?

Unlike chemically produced, artificial colors such as acrylic, the natural pigments have an intensive effect on our senses such as seeing, feeling, feeling and smelling, but only in conjunction with my special painting techniques and color compositions.

My pictures have a holistic, psychosomatic effect in the actual sense through material, color and composition.

They are soul images, individual therapists. They accompany us through our lives like good books that we open again and again and re-read on the adventurous path to our own self.

Art sees and makes visible. She cannot close her eyes to social issues, to current discourses, to the world in which we live: women, ecology and spirituality.

Creative powers that are feminine lie dormant in all of us: patiently nurturing and promoting growth, creating and giving birth. In our difficult times of war against everything living, against people and nature, these creative qualities are of central importance.

Spirituality

This context also includes a new spirituality, a new understanding of God that focuses on the female side of God.
